Open letter to my brothers...
Dear Andrew and David,
How do I even begin? Y'all have driven me insane my whole life! To be fair, I've done some of the trouble making too. I can't believe we've come to this point. Growing up I always envisioned myself at college, but I never saw this part coming. This is the bitter sweet goodbye, that shakes my soul. I can't comprehend how life will be without yall constantly being around. I blame the difficulty of saying goodbye on mom and dad. I mean they made us live in an RV!?! Even when they were frustrated or discouraged by our fighting and disagreements, they were raising best friends, their three goofy monkeys.
Andrew, I couldn't be more proud of the man you've become, and I know that God has greatness on your path ahead. I can't believe you are already at NC State already moved in. They don't even know how lucky they are to have you. I couldn't miss you more. We've always stood by each other's sides in this little journey of "childhood." Taking all the same classes, going to the same camps, serving in other countries together, working together at Zaxby's, and so much more. We even graduated together! But we are going off to college separately... While it is already crazy weird not having you around, I can't wait to see God thrive in both of our lives. I'll always be your biggest fan, however, Cassie can make a close second. I'll always laugh at you and with you. I 'll always tease and irritate you. I'll always love you. I'll always be praying for you. No matter what, I'll always be here for you. GO Pack!
David, you no longer have a house full of siblings to blame things on... good luck. You are such an amazing young man. Your heart is so full of love. You encourage everyone you meet. You are hysterical. I love you more than you know chunky monkey. I may be leaving home, but I'm always one call away so call me maybe. Thank you for always letting me do embarrassing things around you but never being embarrassed by me but simply joining in the goofiness. Thank you for trusting me to the point of jumping off a bridge with me. Don't let your fears or worries hold you back. You are far more amazing than you will ever realize. Remeber that you don't need to be afraid because God's perfect love cast out fear. Chase your wildest dreams, reach for the stars, and never ever give up.
Having you both as brothers has made me the luckiest girl in the world. I'm so excited to jump into the unknown of this next chapter and watch God continue to bring us closer. Christ will thrive even when we merely survive! Always remember to dance when your jam comes on no matter where you are, to sing in the rain, to laugh when you mess up, and to turn everything into an adventure. Don't you dare forget to CALL ME!!
Forever your favorite sister,
Lizzy
