     Do you ever feel lost in life?  Like you are traveling with your eyes closed.  Maybe you feel tugged in two different directions.  I often get lost going any where.  There are so many ways to get to one place.  Often as Christians, we can lose sight of where we are going.  The world bombards us with thoughts, emotions, opinions that cause us to get caught up and confused.  Watch this scene from the lion kind and then continue reading...      That scene has always amazed me, it continues to open my eyes.  We are all constantly undergoing an identity crisis, losing sight of who we truly are.  "Look inside yourself.  You are MORE than what you have become.  Remember who you are.  Remember..."  Who are you?  Are you a introvert or extrovert?  Public schooled or home schooled?  A teen or adult?  Right or left brained?  ...

          Have you ever gotten to know someone who it the exact opposite of you?  Maybe you are even related to your other side.  Mary of Bethany and Martha are the sisters that are complete opposites.  Their older brother Lazareth is who Jesus brought up from the dead.  When Jesus would travel to Bethany He would stay with Mary and Martha.  These ladies set the stage on what it looks like to be a followers of Jesus, in there different ways.  I think God used these sisters to show us what we should strive for in our relationship with God.  Are you a Martha or Mary?           Martha is know for her "famous" scene in the kitchen, getting irritated that her sister wasn't there to help her prepare food for all their guest.  In Luke 10:38- 42 we read this story and see her ask Jesus,  "D o You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? ...

          First things first when I speak of being boy crazy I don't mean that all girls are attracted to multiple guys at once, as the Urban dictionary describes it.  I simply mean that we get crazy over boys.  Each of us girls will reach a phase in life when we are single and desire to have a boyfriends, it is natural we are looking forward to the future.  As a young girl growing up watching romances and even reading romances, I thought I knew exactly what love was.  Sadly I had no clue what love was, because it wasn't what Hollywood portrayed.           Let's all be honest with each other, you are boy crazy.  Yes I am calling you out.  We all desire the attention of any guy.  We just want to be told we are beautiful, smart, or wise.  Have you ever found yourself liking a guy   because he said something nice to you once ?  It is nice to hear that you look pretty from one of your gi...

     As life seams to speed up and the week comes to a close this song comes into my mind.  The world will always pull us deeper in but we are our best selves when we give God the rains and let Him tug on our hearts.  Pastor Charles Stanley once said, "Earthly wisdom is doing what comes naturally.  Godly wisdom is doing what the Holy Spirit compels us to do."  The world is all about quick fixes, but God knows that our pain, or problems can be solved with his love.  Our Messiah came to fix our messes.  All we have to do is clear our stages and fix our eye toward our king.      I have an apology to make, none of you know me.  It isn't that I am not comfortable or myself around you but that each of you brings out different aspects of me.  Each of you knows me a little differently because each of you bring out a unique part of me, and you have been through different journeys with me.  Here are some of my different sides.  Let me know which one you know best, or if the side you know isn't listed.      To get out of the habit of checking social media I deleted all the apps from my phone for a week.  When I went to download them all again I noticed something, they are under the category of essentials.  The Apple app store tells us that Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, YouTube, etc are "essential."  What???  They are essential for procrastination, and wasting time.  These apps are not essential to everyday life.  I decided to look a the other apps in this category.  They have some reasonable ones including an alarm clock, calculator and financial tracker.  Then there are ones that make me more sad like Temple Run, Clash of Clans, Tinder, and the Starbucks App.  What are we doing with our lives America?  Can you please look up from your block that "connects" you to the world and see the humans in front of you?   The Reason I went Social Media free: This is what I get for falling.      I was fru...
